Chris Redfield.

Chris Redfield is an Resident evil character who first appers in Resident evil 1 and is also one of the most iconic Resident evil character. His latest appearance was in Resident evil 7, where he comes in the end to rescue Ethan ( the main protagonist of Resident Evil 7.) Chris Redfield has the most appearances in the resident evil franchise, surpassing all the other characters. Chris Redfield is also the brother of Claire Redfield.

Chris Redfield is one of the few survivors of the racoon city incident. During Resident evil 1 Chris is trapped inside a mansion along with Jill Valentine ( team partner), Albert Wesker and Barry Burton. Chris also meets Rebecca chambers in the mansion. After this game, Chris returns again in Resident Evil Code Veronica.

After his display in Resident Evil code Veronica there is a gap in chris' presence but he returns in the 2009 Resident Evil game, Resident Evil 5. When we first see Chris in Resident Evil 5 he is all changed and is also a lot muscular. Chris is the main protagonist of Resident evil 5 and is accompanied by Sheva Alomar. In the game Chris investigates a threat in Africa while also looking for his old partner, Jill Valentine. Ultimately they are able to find Jill and rescue her (Not without a fight) and put an end to the threat. Along with Sheva, Chris is able to kill Wesker in the end of Resident Evil 5.

In 2012 Chris Redfield returns again in Resident Evil 6. During this game Chris leads a squad of bsaa soldiers to investigate a bio-terror attack in Europe. During the game all of Chris' squad is ambushed and killed by Carla Radames, leaving only Chris and Piers alive. But in 2013 Piers is also killed by haos. Piers is infected while saving Chris from Haos and in the end to ensure that Haos is dead Piers sacrifices himself.

At the end of Resident Evil Chris Redfield appears to rescue Ethan Winters in a helicopter. Chris also appeared in Resident evil 7's downloadable content campaign, Not a Hero.

Aside from these 3 games, Chris has also appeared in Resident evil revelations, umrealla chronicles and darkside chronicles. I believe that if Chris is not the best character in Resident Evil, he is definately 1 of the best and strongest characters in the Resident Evil franchise. What do you think about Chris Redfield?
