Next Resident Evil game?!


After Resident evil 7, resident evil fans are waiting for the next resident evil game to be released. How ever the question which stands is which game will it be? Will it be resident evil 8? Resident evil revelations 3? or Resident evil remake 2?

Resident Evil 7 was the latest installment in the series.

Resident Evil 8.

I believe that it is very unlikely that the next resident evil game will be resident evil 8 as it is to early. Resident evil 7 was released in January 2017 and it will be quite surprising if capcom releases resident evil 8 in 2018 or 2019. If we look back resident evil 4 was released in 2005, Resident evil 5 in 2009 and resident evil 6 in 2012 while resident evil 7 in 2017. There has been at least a gap of 3 years between the main installments so I believe the earliest release date for Resident evil 8 can be 2020.
Also between resident evil 6 and 7 there were other games released such as revelations 2 and umbrella corps etc. But it was said that plans are 'already in motion' so we can still expect resident evil 8 as the next resident evil game. But I believe that there will at least be 1 other resident evil game before resident evil 8 is released.




Resident Evil Revelations 3.

Now this can be a real possibility. Resident evil revelations was released in 2012 while revelations 2 in 2015. So maybe revelations 3 in 2018? I think revelations 3 has a higher chance to be released as the next resident evil game. But till now capcom hasn't said anything about revelations 3 so maybe it is not coming so soon? I believe that revelations 3 will be released sometime but I think it is not coming so soon at least in 2018.

Resident Evil 2 Remake!

It has been 3 years since the remake was announced but we haven't seen it yet. Now personally I have been waiting for this game for a long time and many other resident evil fans also want to see this game. It was first announced in 2015 about the remake and since then it has been in development. I believe that this game has the highest chance to be the next resident evil game and I would love it if this game is released as the next game!



Most of the fans are also eagerly waiting for this game. I hope on E3 resident evil 2 remake is announced. I really thought that  we would hear about resident evil 2 remake on it's 20th anniversary but capcom said nothing about it so maybe there are waiting for E3 to make this big announcement?

If we don't hear about resident evil 2 on E3 then it is going to be a huge disappointment and I will lose hope in resident evil 2 remake!
