Resident Evil 4 is a third-person shooter survival horror video game developed and published by Capcom. It is the sixth major installment in the series which was released in 2005. The story is about Leon S kennedy who is a special US agent and is sent on a mission to rescue the president's daughter.
During the game we encounter many different enimies and places. The game starts in a rural village in Spain. During the game we also go to a castle and an island.

What makes it different from the rest of resident evil games?
Now If you have played the old resident evil games you would know how different it is from the rest of the games. The first 3 resident evil games are a lot of different in many aspects. The game play of the first 3 games was fixed camera angles while in Resident evil 4 we are introduced to a over the shoulder camera angle. The graphics are greatly enhanced and the inventory is quite big then the other games and is also expandable.

The map and the length of the game is also bigger and one of the most interesting feature of the game is the introduction of the merchant which sells us different kind of weapons. We can also upgrade our weapons from the merchant and sell our treasures to him in exchange of ptas (which are the currency or cash in the game.)

In resident evil 4 we also encounter enemies in huge number and are way fast and intelligent the typical zombies. Though ammo is more easily available which makes it easy to kill them. Also some enemies after dying give us ammo or ptas. Another interesting feature of the game is the ability to kick an enemy in a specific position. This makes the game more fun.

The graphics of the game are greatly enhanced! In the classic resident evil games you could only find weapons and not buy them but in resident evil 4 you are given the privilege to buy weapons which makes the game more easy but at the same time more fun.
Now the best feature in my opinion is the introduction of great bosses in the game such as Dr. Salvador. Salazar and El Gigante etc.
Early in the game we encounter Dr. Salvador with a bunch of ganados. This clearly showed that resident evil 4 was going to be a lot different and thrilling than the rest of the games! Dr. Salvador is a guy with a chainsaw who chases you around to cut your head off!

Overall Dr. Salvador is a terrifying enemy to face and in the mercenaries mode the mega Dr. Salvador is a nightmare!

Now in the village we also encounter another beast know as El Gigante. The fight with El Gigante was a memorable fight for me. During the first encounter with him you are also helped by a dog which you helped earlier in the game. The only way to kill El Gigante is to damage him until a parasite comes out of his back and then climb on him and cut the parasite. If you are fast enough then 3 turn are enough to kill him. If you have a lot of cash and are having trouble killing him you can just buy a rocket launcher and kill him.

As you enter the castle you meet salazer. Salazer is the right hand of sadlar. Salazar is 20 years old but his height is really small which makes you think that the fight with is going to be easy. But the last fight of the castle which is with salazar is a whole lot different. Salazar along with his body guard turns into a gaint monster!
An easy way to beat this monster is to shoot him with a mine thrower on his eye and when he is exposed shoot a rocket launcher at him which kills him quickly. Plus he gives you 50,000 ptas which covers the cost of the rocket launcher and gives you extra 20,000 ptas.

Along with these 3 boss's there are many other interesting enemies such as jack krauser, Sadlar, Bella sisters and Verdugo

For me toughest fight in resident evil 4 was with verdugo. Unlike other boss's which can easily killed by a rocket launcher, Verdugo can only be killed by a rocket laucher if you hit him right in the eye which is a hard task as he is constantly moving and can easily dodge your attacks.
Why is resident evil 4 so good?
If we were in 2004 we all would something different from the classics so capcom wanted to do something different. So they decided to create Resident Evil 4 which was a master piece! Nobody expected resident evil to turn like this but the game was so good that it became really successful and the ratings of the game were also really high! Unfortunately some people wanted resident evil to stick like the original classics so they disliked the game.
But for me this game was absolutely amazing!
