Is Resident Evil Remake really that Great?!

Resident Evil Remake was originally released for the GameCube video game console in 2002. It is a remake of the original Resident Evil which was released for the playstation in 1996. The game was far better than the original Resident Evil with greatly enhanced graphics. It also included some new features such as the crimson head. The video game has sold approximately 4.1 million copies!

After being released on the gamecube Resident Evil Remake found its was on many other consoles as well, such as the Ps3 and Ps4. These versions included HD graphics

Characters.

Like the original Resident Evil the Remake also features two main protagonists, Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield. You can take either the control of Jill or Chris who both have there own advantages. But I would recommend to choose Jill first because of her capacity advantage. During the game play of Chris you meet Rebecca Chambers who assists you multiple times. On the other hand in the game play of Jill Valentine yo meet Barry Burton who saves you from becoming a 'JILL SANDWICH'. Over all both the character have some minor differences but most part of the campaign is the same. To take the most advantage of the game I would recommend to play the game with both characters!

The graphics.

This was a feature that definitely made the game worth it! The graphics of the game were way better than the original Resident Evil. These graphics were the best of all the Resident Evil games of that time. The mansion had a whole new look and the zombies were also more detailed. The details of the characters were also brilliant. Every door, floor felt more lively.

New features.

The remake also featured some differences from the original Resident Evil. The controls were slightly changed and there was a slight difference in the camera angels. But the most important and the best new feature which was added was the 'Crimson Heads'.

A picture of the crimson head.
If you kill a normal zombie after some time it turns into a crimson head ( I don't remember the exact time). How ever there are a few ways by which you can prevent a zombie from turning into a crimson head. One of them is to simply blow the heads of zombies but it totally depends on your luck as not all shots blow the heads off. Another way is to burn the corpse of the zombie. This is not based on your luck how ever there is a catch. The ingredients required to burn the corpse of a zombie are pretty limited so you cant expect to burn each and every zombie. The third way is to simply not kill the zombie. If you have to return to a specific place again and again and you are out of burning fuel and there is scarcity of ammo then you can simply not kill the zombie and try to dodge it every time you pass from that place.

Aside from the regular crimson heads there is one more important one which comes out of a coffin. This crimson head is generally more stronger and tougher than the rest of the ones. Also the fight with this crimson head was one of the best moments in the entire Remake and this made sure that the Remake was going to be an epic experience!

Coming to the end I believe that the Remake was definitely a great game! I really enjoyed the whole game and I would recommend it to any Resident Evil fan who hasn't played this game or the original Resident Evil. What did you think about the Remake? Was it fun or it was an unpleasant experience for you? Let me know in the comments below!
